HGV Class 1 Drivers – Stalybridge

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for work at leading logistics company, based in Stalybridge. As part of the logistics team, you will be responsible for trunking work in a HGV Class 1 vehicle.

If you have 2 years HGV Class 1 experience, we can offer a fixed shift pattern on night shifts Monday – Friday.

Hours

• Monday to Friday – Start Times between 1700 – 1900
• Shifts are 10 – 12 hours per day

Pay

• Monday – Friday £16.25 – £19.50p/h
• Rates are PAYE or Umbrella

Duties

• Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with Curtainsided Trailers
• Making deliveries to RDC’s, which could be trailer swaps or waiting to be unloaded on a bay.
• No loading or unloading required for this role
• Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your Driving Hours

Skills & Experience

• HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
• 2 Year HGV Class 1 experience
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
• Experience with Curtainsided Trailers and the ability to check and secure loads
