HGV Class 1 Drivers Needed – Wigan
Are you a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a new opportunity?
We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work on Night Shifts at a leading logistics company based in Wigan. We offer competitive pay rates and a fixed rota, with guaranteed shifts or permanent roles if wanted.
Role Overview:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for making deliveries to RDC’s across the Northwest.
Hours & Shift Patterns
- 6 week shift rota which will include 3 weekends
- Start Times Available between 1800 – 2300
- Paid Breaks
Pay:
- Mon – Sat 18.50p/h – £22p/h
- Sunday £19p/h – £23p/h
- Overtime after 48 Hours £20.97 – £23.97

Duties:
- Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with Box or Double Deck Trailers
- Making deliveries to RDC’s across the Northwest
- Normally between 1 – 3 drops per shift depending on the location.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your driving hours
Skills & Experience:
- HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
- At least 6 Months HGV Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
- Experience with Double Deck Trailers would be an advantage but not essential
