HGV Class 1 Drivers – Skelmersdale

Are you a HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a new opportunity?

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading logistics company based in Skelmersdale. If you have 12 months HGV Class 1 experience, we can offer a fixed rota, with permanent positions available and competitive pay rates.

Role Overview:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be have the same run each night to a RDC using curtainsided trailers.

Hours & Shift Patterns

• Tuesday – Saturday 2345 Starts
• £185 – £235 per shift

Job Role:

• Driving a HGV Class 1 Vehicle with Curtainsided Trailers
• Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your driving hours
• Completing the same run each day – Collecting a trailer, dropping at an RDC and bringing an empty back

Skills & Experience:

• HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
• At least 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
• Experience with curtainsided trailers and the ability to check and secure loads
