We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers, for one of the UK’s leading, independent 3rd party logistics companies, based in the Skelmersdale area.
As part of the logistics team, you will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections across the UK.
Pay:
- Monday – Friday Days £15.50 PAYE / £18ph Umbrella.
- Monday – Friday Nights – £16.50 PAYE / £19ph Umbrella.
- Saturday £17 PAYE / £20.50ph Umbrella and Sunday £18 PAY / £20.50ph Umbrella.
Hours:
- Tramping work for a full week or two/ three nights out per week if preferred.
- Various start times available with flexible shift patterns to suit your needs
Both PAYE and Umbrella drivers are welcome, immediate starts and ongoing work available.
Your duties will be:
- Driving an HGV Class 1 curtain sided vehicle
- Carrying out general haulage work, making deliveries and collections throughout the UK
- Completing a mixture of mid to long distance trunking
- No loading or unloading required for this role
Skills and experience required:
- HGV Class 1 License
- CPC Card & Digi Card
- 2 years’ Experience and over the age of 25 for insurance
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
