We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Day Drivers, to work for an Independent Haulage company, based in the Widnes area.
As part of the transport team, you will be responsible for carrying out general haulage work making deliveries across the UK.
This is a great opportunity, with ongoing work Monday to Friday, with permanent positions available and immediate starts available.
Limited Drivers accepted for this role!!
Pay:
- Monday – Friday PAYE £14 / Umbrella & Limited £16ph
- Saturdays PAYE £15 / Umbrella & Limited £16ph
- Sundays PAYE £16 / Umbrella & Limited £17ph
Hours:
- Monday – Friday 0700 or 0800 starts – Normally 9 Hour Shifts
- Occasional overtime on Saturday
PAYE, Umbrella and Limited drivers are accepted for this role, immediate starts available.
Duties:
- Carrying out general haulage work using an HGV Class 1 Curtainsided vehicle
- Carrying and delivering empty pallets
- No handballing involved
- 1 drop then 2 collections per shift
Skills & Experience:
- HGV Class 1 Driving Licence
- CPC & Digi Card
- 2 Years Class 1 experience and over the age of 25 for insurance
- No more than 9 points for minor endorsements
