The story of Elite.

Established
In February 2014, Elite Transport & Logistics Recruitment was founded by Joanne Handley.
FEBRUARY
2014
Joined the REC
In 2014, Elite joined the REC as a Corporate Member.
2014
Moved to a Larger HQ
Due to rapid business growth, we moved our HQ to a larger premises in Widnes.
2015
Moved to our current base
As we continued to grow, and grow – in 2020 we moved to an even larger premises, which is our current base.

Training Strategy
To improve our quality of service to our clients, we implemented a training strategy for all of our employee’s, which included recognised qualifications.

Apprenticeships
In 2021, our first apprentice completed their course – achieving an NVQ Level 3 in Recruitment Practice.

Award-Winning
In 2022, we won our first award for the Halon Chamber Family Business Award.
2022
BIOR Accredited
In 2024, we officially became accredited by the British Institute of Recruiters.
2024
All employee’s also became accredited Recruiters of the BIOR in 2024.
Fellow of BIOR
In 2025, Founder Joanne Handley, gained Fellowship of the British Institute of Recruiters.
