We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics company in Wigan, offering guaranteed shifts, competitive pay, and both ongoing temporary & permanent opportunities.
Shift Patterns & Hours
- 6-week fixed rota(includes 3 weekends)
- Start times: Between 07:00 – 12:00
- Paid breaks included
PAYE:
- Monday–Friday: £18.50 p/h
- Saturday: £19.70 p/h
- Sunday: £20.85 p/h
- Overtime (after 45 hrs): £23.32 p/h
- Monday–Friday: £20.73 p/h
- Saturday: £22.08 p/h
- Sunday: £23.37 p/h
- Overtime (after 45 hrs): £26.13 p/h
- Monday–Friday: £23.50 p/h
- Saturday: £24.50 p/h
- Sunday: £25.80 p/h
- Overtime (after 45 hrs): £29.00 p/h
- Ongoing or permanent roles available
- Work scheduled in advance on a 6-week rota
- Modern, well-maintained fleet
- Paid breaks & weekly pay
- 24/7 on-call support from the Elite team
- Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles with Box or Double Deck trailers
- Complete store deliveries across the Northwest
- 1–3 drops per shift (includes unloading)
- Carry out daily vehicle checks & ensure compliance with driving hours
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 3 months HGV Class 1 experience ( Newly Qualified Drivers will be considered with previous HGV Class 2 experience)
- Maximum 6 penalty points (minor only)
- Experience with double deck trailers beneficial but not essential
