We’re recruiting Shunters with a HGV Class 1 Licence for work at a leading logistics company based in Skelmersdale
If you have 12 Months Class 1 Experience and are looking for Shunting work, we want to hear from you.
Shifts & Hours
- 4 Days on 4 Days Off
- 0600 - 1800
- Operating a Terberg to move Trailers on and off Loading Bays in the yard and in to Parking Area's when not being used.
- Moving Curtainsided, Double Decker or Box Trailers
- Using a HGV Class 1 Unit to move trailers across the Yard or to other other locations
- You may be required to drive a HGV to complete occasional runs
- Completing Paperwork and working with the transport office to manage trailer movements
Monday to Friday
- £17.93 - PAYE Including Umbrella
- £20.75 - Umbrella
- £19.05 - PAYE Including Holiday Pay
- £22.00 - Umbrella
- £20.17 - PAYE Including Holiday Pay
- £23.00 - Umbrella
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence, CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 Months Class 1 driving experience
- Previous Terburg Shunting Experience would be an advantage but not essential
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
