We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established distribution operation delivering to hospitality venues across the North West and North Wales.
Working Pattern
Choose from the following shifts:
- Sunday – Thursday
- Tuesday – Saturday
- Sunday – 9:00am
- Saturday – 8:00am
- Tuesday to Friday – 7:30am
- £17.73p/h PAYE Including Holiday Pay
- Uniform provided
- Free refreshments available on site
- Guaranteed minimum 48 hours paid per week even if you work less hours.
- Driving HGV Class 2 Automatic DAF Trucks, to make deliveries across the Northwest and North Wales
- Operating curtainside vehicles
- Delivering pallets of alcohol & soft drinks to hospitality venues
- Using an electric pump truck to unload at the delivery point
- Working alongside a Driver’s Mate who will help to communicate with the delivery point and unloading the vehicles
- Using a hand held device to update all deliveries and job tracking
- Some deliveries are unmanned and will require you to hold keys to open and lock premises
- Handling customer payments and ensuring safe return of cash to the depot
- HGV Class 2 Licence, Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
- Comfortable with manual unloading
- Trustworthy and responsible when handling cash
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
