Recruitment Resourcer – Driving Sector

Are you confident on the phone, enjoy speaking to people, and looking to start a career in recruitment? We’re looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our busy team in Widnes, helping us connect professional HGV Drivers with exciting work opportunities across the UK.

This role is perfect for someone early in their career – whether you’re a trainee, graduate, or have some customer service/sales experience and want to develop within the recruitment industry.

Working Hours 
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm - Office Based 
  • This role will also include participation in the on-call rota (1 weekend in 5) to support drivers and clients outside of normal office hours 
What we offer
  • Basic Salary between £27,500 - £29,500 depending on experience 
  • Additional Incentives including Performance Relating Bonus & Rewards 
  • Realistic On Target Earnings including Bonus would be between £30,500 - £34,000 
  • Full training and support from an experienced recruitment team with the opportunity to complete an NVQ in Recruitment Practice
  • Career progression opportunities within the business
What you’ll be doing

As a Recruitment Resourcer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our driver workforce active and engaged. Your day will include:
  • Recruiting HGV Drivers for temporary and ongoing work across the UK
  • High-volume outreach – proactively calling, messaging, and engaging drivers
  • Promoting job opportunities using social media and digital content (including filming short videos)
  • Completing candidate compliance checks before drivers start work
  • Supporting with timesheet administration for working candidates
  • Building strong relationships with drivers and providing a friendly point of contact
What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with the right attitude and personality. Recruitment experience is helpful but not essential.
You’ll ideally be:
  • Friendly, outgoing, and confident speaking to people
  • Comfortable working on the phone and engaging with candidates
  • Motivated by targets and results
  • Have a Positive, Can-Do Attitude 
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Interested in building a long-term career in recruitment
