HGV Class 1 Container Drivers – Trafford Park
We’re currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Container Drivers for a well-established logistics company based in Trafford Park.
As part of the transport team, you’ll be responsible for moving containers to and from ports and distribution centres across the UK.
Job Details
Days: Monday to Friday
Start Times: 0630
Shifts: 10 to 13 hours depending on route
Pay Rates:
- PAYE: £17.37p/h or Umbrella: £20p/h
- Rates including Holiday Pay
Your Duties Will Include
- Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles to complete UK-wide container deliveries
- Transporting containers to/from major UK ports
- Delivering to RDCs across the network
- Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence, CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 2 years’ experience driving Class 1 vehicles
- Previous container work experience is essential
- A valid dock card is required
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
