HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted – Barnsley
We’re hiring experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing team in Barnsley. If you have at least 6 months of Class 2 driving experience, we want to hear from you.
Pay Rates:

| Monday – Saturday Days | £18.00 | £20.17 | £22.50 |
| OT After 45 Hours | £27.75 | £31.10 | £34.50 |
What’s on Offer:
- Fixed shift pattern which includes working any 5 days between Monday to Saturday
- Expect to work 2-3 Saturdays in every 6-week cycle
- Start times between 05:00 – 08:00
- Guaranteed Work until November
The Role:
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle with refrigerated trailers
- Making 3 to 8 store deliveries per shift
- Conducting daily vehicle checks
- Managing your driving hours and working safely
What You’ll Need:
- HGV Class 2 Licence + CPC + Digi Card
- Minimum 6 months’ Class 2 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
- Multi-drop experience is a bonus, but not essential
